Privacy policy

This policy explains what data TreeHere collects, why we use it and how you can exercise your rights. It is deliberately brief: if anything is unclear, write to us.

1. What data we collect

Your account data

Contact phone number

You can add a phone number to your account so we can contact you about the service. We only use it to talk to you: it never appears on your public page, it is not shown to other users of the platform, and we never sell or hand it over for advertising. You can delete it from your panel at any time.

Your page content

The titles and addresses of the links you add, the links to your social networks, your bio, your theme and your colours.

Usage data

Aggregated visit and click counters for your own page, including the number of clicks per link. We do not store visitors' IP addresses in our database and we do not put tracking cookies on their devices.

Payment data

PayPal processes the payment. We only store the plan you signed up for, the subscription status and the billing cycle dates, never your card or bank details.

2. Cookies

We use two first-party cookies: bt_session, strictly technical, which keeps you logged in, and th_lang, which remembers the language you chose. Both are HttpOnly, are only sent over HTTPS and expire after 30 days or when you log out. We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

3. Who we share your data with

Only the providers we need to deliver the Service share your data:

We never sell, rent or hand over your personal data. We do not use it for advertising or to build advertising profiles.

4. What we use the data for

To give you the Service: keep your account and your page alive, show your links, process your payments and protect the service from abuse and impersonation. We also use aggregated metrics to understand how the platform is used overall.

5. Your rights

You can ask us at any time:

Contact

For any question about this policy or about your account, write to us at soporte@treehere.com from the address you signed up with.

We reply within 30 days at most. If you think we have not handled your request, you can complain to the relevant data protection authority.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you request closure, your profile stops being public immediately and we delete your personal data within 30 days, unless we are legally required to keep it.

7. Security

We serve the whole site over HTTPS, keep sessions with random tokens, limit internal access to what is needed and encrypt passwords when storing them. No system is infallible: if an incident affects your data, we will tell you.

8. Minors

The Service is for people over 18. We knowingly do not allow accounts for minors. If you believe a minor has an account, write to us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Some of our providers process information outside your country. That means your data may travel to servers in the United States and other regions where we deliver the service.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will tell you by email or with a notice in your panel before the change takes effect.
